SACRAMENTO, California – The Los Rios Community College District Board of Trustees voted unanimously to enter into a contract with Stockon-based general contractor, F&H Construction, to complete the upcoming Cosumnes River College Modernization Project.

The upcoming work will primarily consist of the demolition of a number of existing single-story buildings and greenhouses on the campus, followed by the construction of a new single-story Technology Building and new greenhouses for the college’s agriculture department.  The new technology building is designed for steel-framed, slab-on-grade, construction.   In addition, F&H Construction will remodel an existing single-story metal building for campus receiving, custodial and maintenance staff members.

All work will be performed pursuant to a $6.51 million contract, and is scheduled for completion in the Fall of 2012.
