The Hawaii Public Housing Authority (HPHA), utilizing funds from
the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009 (ARRA),
awarded a contract to F&H Construction to serve as the general
contractor in the modernization of the Kahekili Terrace housing
development.
These renovation efforts are nearing completion under the $5
million public works contract awarded to F&H Construction.
Generally, the project will include the replacement of the
development’s solar hot water system and storage tanks for three
3-story buildings; eleven 2-story buildings and one single-story
building. The project also includes re-roofing, spalling
repairs, exterior paint, gas water heater replacement, plumbing
and electrical work upgrades.
The Kahekili Terrace renovation effort is slated for completion
during the Summer of 2011. |
