MAUI, Hawaii – F&H Construction is scheduled to complete the new
Lahainaluna High School Cafeteria during the Summer of 2011.
Once complete, the student dining and indoor assembly facility
will include numerous features comparable to those needed to
achieve Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (“LEED”)
Silver certification.
F&H Construction is serving as general contractor under an
approximate $8 million contract awarded by the State of Hawaii,
Department of Education. The project will provide the
Lahainaluna High School with additional dining capacity for 650
students, and will also be capable of meeting the school’s
indoor assembly requirements, up to 1,000 students.
Founded in 1831, Lahainaluna High School is the oldest school
in the State of Hawaii. The campus rests near the base of the
West Maui Mountains and overlooks the town of Lahaina.
