OAKHURST, California
– The State of California Department of General Services has
awarded F&H Construction with a $7.16 million contract to
construct the new Oakhurst area office for the California
Highway Patrol.
The project, which is scheduled for
completion in August of 2012, will be constructed on an existing
2 acre site, owned by the State and located along Highway 49 in
Oakhurst. The much-anticipated project will consist of a
2-story office and auto shop building, 120-foot communications
tower and foundation, a single-story storage/generator/radio
building, along with public & secured parking. In addition, F&H
Construction will be installing a new emergency generator with
propane tanks, fire pump, and fuel island with above ground
storage tank, canopy and photovoltaic system, with surrounding
fencing and landscaping improvements.
Ground-breaking on this new project is
anticipated within the next month. |
