MAUI, Hawaii -
F&H Construction continues to make strides toward the timely
completion of a new state-of-the-art Science Building for the
University of Hawaii, on its Maui campus. The $20.5 million
project will stand as the first LEED Gold certified project ever
constructed on the Island of Maui. Once completed, the 28,000
square foot facility will house a sizeable lecture hall,
multiple classrooms, and seven laboratories. One of the many
other highlights will be an observatory equipped with a
telescope and links to the research facilities on Hakeakala,
giving it the name `Ike Le`a (to see clearly). |
